BioInnovation Institute (BII) is together with COBIS probing a new concept, of putting together a series of events with the working title “BII-Fair”, where local and international companies are offered an opportunity to present their capabilities on the BII-stage.
The format is 30 minutes presentation and 10 minutes QA per presenting company, and subsequently there will be time and space for matchmaking in the connecting rooms. The venue is open, with a time-schedule, so it’s possible for guests to pick out individual presentations that are relevant to them.
The venue will be at BII on “The Square” on November 6th

About the companies:
CMC Value Advisory
An independent company with consultancy services within CMC tasks and protein chemistry. Overall, I provide two services: Counselling and interim capacity. The focus is bridging between bio-developer and bio-investor on CMC tasks and between bio-developer and Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO). The interim capacity can be within project management, CMC-coordinator or scientist services within analysis, characterization and formulation development. All steps which are needed to get your product from research to clinical trials.
The Back Office
The Back Office provides a full range of business administration and secretarial services acting as Executive Assistant, Management Support, Secretary or traditional Sales/Marketing Assistant to keep your business running smoothly at all times. Our flexible support negates the need to employ an onsite secretary or administrative staff, hence offering the perfect outsourcing solution for especially entrepreneurs and start-ups, who do not have the need for a full-time employee. Our experience from the innovation environment at COBIS and Scion-DTU spans more than 10 years.
Instead of wasting precious time on manual data processing or losing valuable research data in countless and convoluted Excel files, or struggling with insufficient support for laboratory automation, we want to give scientists better informatics by providing them with the next generation of research data management software. In short, we want scientists to have a better, more flexible, adaptable and agile informatics support that can take them and their research to the next level.
We create software for scientists – by scientists.
VIKING is an online interface for running various molecular simulations on supercomputers. Available completely in a regular web browser, the service allows easy “wizard”-based configuration of computational tasks. VIKING transfers the necessary data to a supercomputer and runs the simulation there. When the task is complete, the results are gathered and represented visually in the interface.

Do you need a common overview of all your tasks, and your deadlines?
Do you need backup and technical support with special/old/strange hardware or software?
Do you want an IT partner who knows COBIS and the special needs of biotech startups?
– If your answer is yes to any of the above, then come and see us at the BII Fair on 6 November.
